UMOJA Society an Organization serving the Tanzanian community, Swahili speaking community and friends of Tanzania in Minnesota and surrounding states. This organization was formed by Tanzanians living in Minnesota (USA) and was incorporated in the state of Minnesota USA in January 2005. It aims at mobilizing and bringing together Tanzanians and friends of Tanzania with a common objective of addressing the cultural, economic, educational, immigration, health, scientific, and social needs of its community members. The organization was formed for our common good and we encourage YOU to become a member by registering yourself as a member of the organization after reading the membership requirements (bylaws). After becoming a member then you will be eligible for all the membership benefits. Registering also means that you will be able to participate in and receive communication from the association leadership and other members. Saba Saba 09 - A Red Carpet Affair |

Take in the spectacular views along the St Croix river while enjoying 4th of July fireworks. DJ Luka from DC and DJ Dennis of Minnesota will be rocking the boat with R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Raga, Soukous, Zouk, Genge
and Bongo Flava. Also featuring a live band. Dinner will be served on the boat. Dress to impress for a red carpet affair to remember.
