UMOJA Society is a 501 (c) 3 registered Non profit organization incorporated in the State of Minnesota.

Our mission is to enrich the quality of life and strengthen unity amongst its members, the Tanzanian community, Swahili Speaking Community and friends of Tanzania.

We achieve our mission by:

Providing a forum for information sharing in the areas of culture, language, educational, economical,health and legal issues.
Providing forum for discussions about important issues related to our countries of origin and to promote their positive values and culture.
Providing a forum for networking and social interaction.
Assisting members in the events of disasters.
Assisting members, in the event of death of a member or immediate family member.
